Walt Disney World Railroad Track Installation Nearly Complete at Magic Kingdom

We want you to get the most out of your ‘luxury villa’ stay in Solterra, Davenport (near Championsgate and just south of the Disney World Resort area). To help out, we have sourced the following blog post to keep you up to date with news from Walt Disney World Resort. Thanks to the guys over at Blog Mickey for the original post...

After staging the last stretch of Walt Disney World Railroad track near the Storybook Circus station, crews are now installing the last bit of track to complete the full loop at Magic Kingdom for the first time in years. As a reminder, the TRON Lightcycle Run construction necessitated the removal of a stretch of track between Storybook Circus and Tomorrowland. Disney has built a tunnel under the TRON Lightcycle Run entrance ramp.

Now, crews are laying the final pieces of track so that the Walt Disney World Railroad will be a complete 1.5-mile loop around Magic Kingdom ahead of its return.

Disney World has not announced a reopening date for the Walt Disney World Railroad at Magic Kingdom.
