Tomorrowland Launch Depot to Open April 4th Exclusively To Select Guests

It’s not just TRON Lightcycle Run that will officially open on April 4th. The Tomorrowland Launch Depot, aka the Space Mountain gift shop, is also scheduled to open that day, but Cast Members are saying that it won’t be open for just anyone. According to merchandise managers in the area, the Tomorrowland Launch Depot will open tomorrow, April 4th, but only to guests with a previously scheduled TRON Identity Program reservation.

As we reported earlier, the TRON Identity Program has been delayed and will not open as planned on April 4th. Instead, guests with a canceled reservation are being offered a $90 gift card and exclusive access to shop in the Tomorrowland Launch Depot. Managers BlogMickey.com spoke with said that guests should come with their original TRON Identity Program email as a reference to enter the gift shop.

Managers we spoke with said that limited access to the Tomorrowland Launch Depot was always the plan, regardless of the snafu with the TRON Identity Program. That is, it was previously planned that only guests with TRON Identity Program reservations would be allowed access to the Tomorrowland Launch Depot and that guests without reservations would be directed to the Tomorrowland pop-up shop at Stitch’s Great Escape. The Tomorrowland Launch Depot was always scheduled to open on April 4th and there were even exclusive shopping opportunities recently for select affinity groups.

Later today, we’ll have more information on how you can get your hands on TRON Lightcycle Run merchandise!
