The American Adventure Misses Another Reopening Date, Refurbishment Extended Indefinitely Again at EPCOT

We want you to get the most out of your ‘luxury villa’ stay in Solterra, Davenport (near Championsgate and just south of the Disney World Resort area). To help out, we have sourced the following blog post to keep you up to date with news from Walt Disney World Resort. Thanks to the guys over at Blog Mickey for the original post...

Disney World has removed showtimes for The American Adventure and extended the refurbishment indefinitely… again.

The American Adventure was originally scheduled to reopen from a multi-month refurbishment on December 17th. We went out to EPCOT only to find that the attraction remained closed and Cast Members were unsure when it would reopen. Then, later that day, Disney World posted showtimes for the attraction for December 19th and beyond.

Now, the showtimes that Disney World posted just a few days ago have been removed again and the refurbishment has been extended indefinitely.

Cast Members at the attraction have told us that it could be closed anywhere from a few more weeks to a few more months. A reopening date has not been identified.

According to BlogMickey.com sources, the extension of the refurbishment was unexpected.
