Surf’s Up! Disney Springs Break Presented by Havaianas

We want you to get the most out of your ‘luxury villa’ stay in Solterra, Davenport (near Championsgate and just south of the Disney World Resort area). To help out, we have sourced the following blog post to keep you up to date with news from Walt Disney World Resort. Thanks to the guys over at Disney Parks for the original post...

When I think about spring break and the beach, I think of sun, sand … and flip flops! And who knows more about flip flops than Havaianas? The iconic sandal brand is famous for their bright colors and beach-ready designs. And now they are bringing all things beachy right here to Disney Springs –Waterview Park is in the midst of being transformed into an immersive spring break beach festival and it’s “shore” to be an amazing time.

Disney Springs Break presented by Havaianas will be turning up the heat from April 21-24 and you’re all invited to join the beachside bash. At Waterview Park, between The BOATHOUSE and Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar, you’ll find the perfect place to catch some sun, play in the sand, rock out to great entertainment and, of course, take plenty of Instagram-worthy photos.

Each day from 2 p.m.-11 p.m., DJs and live entertainment will be taking the stage to play some tubular tunes. While you groove to the beat, check out all the activities Havaianas has set up on the beach. Watch sand artisans create works of art before your very eyes, and then try your own hand at sand sculpting in the interactive sandbox. Keep the crafty vibe going and help paint some vibrant surfboards! There are also plenty of fun photo ops – stop by the surf shack, step into the biggest Havaianas flip flop ever and hang ten at a surf-inspired backdrop. Havaianas will also have their newest Spring collection available for purchase, styles perfect for spring break and beyond, that I can’t wait to check out

Don’t forget to tag your photos
with #havaspringbreak to share your fun in the sun. I’ll see you at the beach!

That's all folks!
