Second Showing of Fantasmic Moves to After Park Close Next Week

We want you to get the most out of your ‘luxury villa’ stay in Solterra, Davenport (near Championsgate and just south of the Disney World Resort area). To help out, we have sourced the following blog post to keep you up to date with news from Walt Disney World Resort. Thanks to the guys over at Blog Mickey for the original post...

Starting December 26th, the Fantasmic showtimes will shift by 30 minutes later than the current performance times. This shift will push the second showing to after Disney’s Hollywood Studios closes, but that doesn’t mean that guests will be forced to leave the park.

While we haven’t seen an after-park-close showtime of Fantasmic since it returned, having a showtime scheduled after the park closes isn’t historically uncommon. While attractions close right at park close, some entertainment and dining might still be open or scheduled after the official close. This is a way for Disney to manage crowds and provide a bit of extra value for guests looking to make the most of their day at the parks.

When Fantasmic is scheduled after park close, Cast Members will not close the line right at park close. Guests will be allowed to enter the Hollywood Hills Amphitheater as long as there is space.

Here’s a look at the current Fantasmic schedule:

  • Now – December 25: 7:30pm, 9pm
  • December 26 – January 7: 8pm, 9:30pm*
  • January 8 – March 2: 8pm

*after park close except 12/31
