It looks like construction has been completed on a support kitchen for the Woody’s Lunch Box quick-service dining location in Toy Story Land. Construction on what was a mystery project began in October 2022, with the structure going vertical earlier this year. Now, scaffolding has arrived ahead of a possible theming of the building. Disney World has not announced the project, much less provided any concept art of what the area might look like when the work is complete. Instead, we stopped by Disney’s Hollywood Studios earlier today to take a look at the latest progress as we continue to keep an eye on the work.
From the Toy Story Mania exit, a lot of foliage has been removed to support the construction, and guests have a clear view of the Toy Story Land restrooms (green building) and the new Woody’s Lunch Box support kitchen (white/tan building).
A possible seating expansion project has also been ongoing since January 2022 but has yet to debut to guests. Hopefully, with the completion of this support kitchen, Disney World can finally open a small covered seating area that has been under construction for more than a year.
