Walt Disney World Platinum Plus Annual Passholders who have not reached their expiration date will still have access to Blizzard Beach water park.
When it was announced that Disney would be reopening Blizzard Beach, ticketing Cast Members were given conflicting information on whether guests with active and valid Platinum Plus Annual Passes would be able to enter Blizzard Beach. As Platinum Plus Annual Passholders ourselves, we spoke with multiple representatives who said our water park access would not be valid upon the reopening of Blizzard Beach – even though it was not yet expired. Other readers said that they were told that they would be able to use their Platinum Plus Annual Pass to gain entry to Blizzard Beach – we never received that information.
Fast forward to today, and while we purchased a single-day ticket to be able to enter Blizzard Beach, we were told that Annual Passholders who have a water park entitlement were able to still enter the park. We were able to use our active, non-expired Platinum Plus Annual Pass to enter Blizzard Beach today.
Of course, Disney is no longer allowing renewals of Platinum Plus Annual Passes, so when your existing pass expires, that’s it, you’ll have to purchase a single-day ticket until Disney begins offering the Platinum Plus Annual Pass or Water Park Annual Pass again.
