Number of Guests Purchasing Disney Genie+ Remains Steady

We want you to get the most out of your ‘luxury villa’ stay in Solterra, Davenport (near Championsgate and just south of the Disney World Resort area). To help out, we have sourced the following blog post to keep you up to date with news from Walt Disney World Resort. Thanks to the guys over at Blog Mickey for the original post...

On an investor call this afternoon, Disney CEO Bob Chapek spoke briefly about the paid Disney Genie+ product that allows guests to skip the line at many attractions and experiences. In this latest update, Chapek said that “about 50% of the people who come through the gate buy up to the Genie product”.

This figure remains steady with comments that Chapek made in February 2022 where he said that between one-third and 50% of guests buy Disney Genie+. In an investor call in May, Disney praised Genie+ as one of the revenue drivers for its domestic theme parks.

Disney Genie+ is certainly a strong product for Disney, financially, but remains a controversial product among fans who are either unhappy with the usability of the product or are disgruntled that they have to pay for something that was free before with the Disney FastPass+ offering.

As always, keep checking back with us here at BlogMickey.com as we continue to bring you the latest news, photos, and info from around the Disney Parks!
