Nicole Reclassified to Tropical Storm Nicole, Tropical Storm Warning Issued for Walt Disney World Area

We want you to get the most out of your ‘luxury villa’ stay in Solterra, Davenport (near Championsgate and just south of the Disney World Resort area). To help out, we have sourced the following blog post to keep you up to date with news from Walt Disney World Resort. Thanks to the guys over at Blog Mickey for the original post...

Disney World is now under a Tropical Storm Warning, upgraded from a Tropical Storm Watch overnight. A Tropical Storm Warning means tropical storm-force winds are expected somewhere within this area within the next 36 hours. The window for the most severe weather in the Disney World area remains late Wednesday and throughout Thursday.

Subtropical Storm Nicole has also been reclassified into Tropical Storm Nicole. Here’s the latest forecasted path for Nicole, which is expected to intensify into a hurricane ahead of landfall in Florida.
