New Animal Kingdom Park Map Removes COVID-19 Warning & KiteTails, Changes to DinoLand USA

We want you to get the most out of your ‘luxury villa’ stay in Solterra, Davenport (near Championsgate and just south of the Disney World Resort area). To help out, we have sourced the following blog post to keep you up to date with news from Walt Disney World Resort. Thanks to the guys over at Blog Mickey for the original post...

A new park map was rolled out for Disney’s Animal Kingdom today with a few notable changes.

The new map features the Tree of Life, replacing the previous map featured image that had the Finding Nemo show.

Other changes include the removal of the COVID-19 safety warning, instead replaced with a generic “Health and Safety Reminders” section. Other changes to this side of the map include the removal of KiteTails, which didn’t even make it a full year at Animal Kingdom. Disney has also added a mention of the Beacon of Magic show, which is now being presented nightly after not being shown during the summer months at all.

Inside the map, changes to DinoLand USA include the removal of Dino Diner from the list of DinoLand USA offerings and a new version of the digital map that cuts it out. It’s likely that Dino Diner will not return before Moana and Zootopia take over DinoLand USA.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios also recently updated its park map to include Fantasmic and remove COVID-19 warnings.
