Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Almost Completely Sold Out

We want you to get the most out of your ‘luxury villa’ stay in Solterra, Davenport (near Championsgate and just south of the Disney World Resort area). To help out, we have sourced the following blog post to keep you up to date with news from Walt Disney World Resort. Thanks to the guys over at Blog Mickey for the original post...

There are just two dates still available for sale for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. As of publish time, December 13th and 15th are the only remaining dates that haven’t sold out for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party this year.

The strong sales for Disney World’s Christmas event follow unprecedented sales for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, which was completely sold out just a few days after the event started. It’s likely that Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will completely sell out this week, if not in the next day or two.

Disney World did not present the full Christmas Party or Halloween Party for the past couple of years due to COVID-19 restrictions. Still, the return to full upcharge parties has been met with unbelievable demand from guests – even with substantially higher ticket prices this year compared to the last time full parties were presented in 2019.

Looking forward, uncertainty about the economy has resulted in a hiring freeze, but no direct impacts on the theme parks have been reported. On the contrary, the Disney Parks segment of the company is recording record revenue after a slow comeback from the March 2020 shutdowns. Disney World will continue to bring back old upcharge events with the return of the After Hours offerings in early 2023 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom.
