Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

We want you to get the most out of your ‘luxury villa’ stay in Solterra, Davenport (near Championsgate and just south of the Disney World Resort area). To help out, we have sourced the following blog post to keep you up to date with news from Walt Disney World Resort. Thanks to the guys over at Blog Mickey for the original post...

Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is the parade for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Shown twice nightly, Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade brings snowfall and cheer to Main Street USA. The legendary street comes alive with yuletide spirit on select nights. Snap memorable photos of dancing gingerbread men, marching toy soldiers, and beloved Disney Characters as they float by, waving hello. There’s even a special appearance by Santa Claus – riding in to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.

Here’s a look at the parade route (dotted), that starts in Frontierland and eventually makes its way down Main Street USA. We typically watch the parade from under the Magic Kingdom Christmas Tree at the end of Main Street USA, but anywhere along Main Street is a great spot to watch the parade if you want to experience snow in Florida. Other sections of the parade route typically have lower crowds the closer you get to Frontierland, but there isn’t any “snoap” anywhere else but Main Street USA.

In this article, we’re going to share our photos and video of the parade from Main Street USA! Our video is from 2019 and our photos are from 2022.

The parade begins with a gaggle of Disney characters ahead of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.

Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse ride in on a parade float with presents and a Christmas Tree.

Next up is a fun Frozen parade unit featuring skiers!

Olaf is never far behind and has his very own float.

Anna and Kristoff walk with other characters ahead of Elsa’s float.

Next up is the Wreck-It Ralph unit. Unfortunately, Ralph was missing, but Vanellope could be found cruising along in a gingerbread car.

It’s time to bake some holiday treats with Chip, Dale, and Clarabelle Cow!

The sweets continue with Goofy’s candy unit.

The Seven Dwarfs are up next, and they’re dressed for holiday cheer.

Cinderella follows.

Holiday ballroom dancers arrive before the massive mirror float filled with princesses and their princes.

Santa’s Workshop comes alive with toys.

What comes after toys? More toys! The Toy Story unit is up next – starting with the new Green Army Men segment.

Perhaps the most iconic portion of the parade is the Toy Soldiers unit.

One final present stands between us and…

…Santa Claus and his reindeer!
