Max Goof Powerline Party Time Pre-Parade at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

We want you to get the most out of your ‘luxury villa’ stay in Solterra, Davenport (near Championsgate and just south of the Disney World Resort area). To help out, we have sourced the following blog post to keep you up to date with news from Walt Disney World Resort. Thanks to the guys over at Blog Mickey for the original post...

The first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party kicked off last night, and we were in attendance to check out what’s new! Perhaps the top new item on our list was to check out Max Goof as Powerline in a 90’s-themed “Powerline Party Time” pre-parade to the “Boo To You” parade. Announced just days before the start of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Max Goof and his 90’s-themed pals replace the Zootopia Party Patrol of yesteryear. Songs played during the pre-parade include “Stand Out” and “I2I”.

If you’re planning on watching Max Goof and friends, you should be aware that the pre-parade only takes place on Main Street USA and in Town Square. It does not run the full parade route. Additionally, it makes two stops – one at Center Street on Main Street USA, and the second stop in front of the Main Street Railroad Station in Town Square.

The pre-parade gives guests a chance to get out into the streets and dance a bit before Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade comes through. We felt that the new Max Goof 90’s-themed parade was considerably weaker than the Zootopia Party Patrol, but we’re willing to give them a pass due to poor weather and conditions. Also, the lightning on Main Street USA proper seemed to be either not working properly or severely underlit. Here’s a clip of the second dance stop in front of the Main Street Railroad Station!
