We want you to get the most out of your ‘luxury villa’ stay in Solterra, Davenport (near Championsgate and just south of the Disney World Resort area). To help out, we have sourced the following blog post to keep you up to date with news from Walt Disney World Resort. Thanks to the guys over at Blog Mickey for the original post...
We took to the skies above the France Pavilion today to get a latest look at the work taking place for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and more.
While on board the Disney Skyliner gondola system, guests get a wonderful view of the work taking place as part of the France Pavilion expansion and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure attraction. While it’s particularly useful for construction updates like this one, it’ll also offer unprecedented backstage views for decades to come.
Continuing along the Disney Skyliner line, we can see that the city background facade in now completed, with the scaffolding now removed.
Some scaffolding does still exist, notably in the courtyard area.
Speaking of the courtyard, we can see a fountain has been installed with what looks like Remy sculpted into it.
It was a busy day at the construction site this afternoon, with workers found working on electrical, structural, plumbing, and more.
Workers could be found painting the windows for the facade that guests will pass by as they walk back towards the France Pavilion expansion.
The building that appears to be the furthest behind is the crêperie.
The new crêperie will feature the cuisine of celebrity chef Jérôme Bocuse, the mastermind behind the pavilion’s Chefs de France brasserie and its celebration of gourmet cuisine, Monsieur Paul. With a menu inspired by the Brittany region of France, the new location will offer table service dining as well as a quick-service stop for guests craving savory crepes called galettes and sweet crepes.
Finally, here’s another look at the cityscape facade from the ground at International Gateway.
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure opens this summer at Epcot, but an exact date hasn’t been revealed just yet.
