Jingle Cruise Returns to Magic Kingdom for 2022 Holiday Season

We want you to get the most out of your ‘luxury villa’ stay in Solterra, Davenport (near Championsgate and just south of the Disney World Resort area). To help out, we have sourced the following blog post to keep you up to date with news from Walt Disney World Resort. Thanks to the guys over at Blog Mickey for the original post...

Jungle all the way! With the arrival of the holiday season at Walt Disney World, the World Famous Jungle Cruise has transformed into the Jingle Cruise – a holiday layover for the attraction that brings updated props and jokes. The Jingle Cruise started back in 1935 (according to Jungle Cruise lore), but officially debuted at Magic Kingdom in 2013. Over the years, more props and jokes have been added to the jungle, and have made the Jingle Cruise a holiday season must-do.

We’ll start with a look at the queue, which has holiday touches throughout, including holiday music!

The attraction also includes some holiday props and a holiday-themed spiel from the Skippers. First, let’s take a look at the modified boat names!

Time for a spin around the jungle!

The first section of the cruise in the Amazon River contain some gifts among the jungle mist.

We didn’t notice any changes at the “Boats & Baits and Bites” beach, but the trashed camp scene is overflowing with gifts and holiday touches.

As we make our way to the Nile River, we find our next holiday enhanced scene past the African Veldt and at the trapped safari scene.

The resident crocs have some decor on their beach too.

The Hippo Pool, Chimp Country, and Schweitzer Falls were not decorated. We found our next decor over by the Ancient Temple.

The Mekong River and Trader Sam’s Lost & Found didn’t have any holiday enhancements.

After the ride, you can find some New Year’s Eve touches, including some resolutions from Skippers.

The Jingle Cruise is available daily through the end of the year and during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
