We want you to get the most out of your ‘luxury villa’ stay in Solterra, Davenport (near Championsgate and just south of the Disney World Resort area). To help out, we have sourced the following blog post to keep you up to date with news from Walt Disney World Resort. Thanks to the guys over at Disney Parks for the original post...
Have you had a chance to visit Disney’s Animal Kingdom and check out all the fun happening at Donald’s Dino-Bash! in DinoLand, U.S.A.? It’s become one of my family’s favorite spots in the park, especially with the chance to meet up with awesome characters like Scrooge McDuck and Launchpad McQuack from “DuckTales!”
This special, land-wide celebration is hosted by Donald Duck, in honor of his realization that ducks are actually descendants of dinosaurs. Throughout the day, you can meet Donald at the Welcome Center, and be on the lookout for Daisy, Pluto and Goofy, too! Chip ‘n Dale are there, dressed in the cutest dinosaur outfits you’ve ever seen, and in the evening they head over by Chester & Hester’s Dino-Rama for a Dino-Riffic Dance Party.
I’ve just learned that our friends at Disney Parks Merchandise are introducing adorable new plush versions of Donald in his official Dino-Bash! outfit and Chip ‘n Dale in their dinosaur suits. Best of all, Chip ‘n Dale come as a set, holding hands. How cute is that?! They’ll be available starting today at Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures and Dino-Rama Cart. Looks like I’ll be planning another trip out to the park to pick these up for myself.
Of course, this summer is the perfect time to head back to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The park is alive with the magic of all-new experiences like the Hakuna Matata Time Dance Party, the park-wide celebration of “The Lion King,” adventures with Kevin from “UP!” and the recently-updated “Rivers of Light: We Are One.”
Who else is going? Will I see you out there?
That's all folks!
