The Haunted Mansion didn’t open with the rest of Magic Kingdom this morning and Cast Members at the attraction advised guests that it may open later today.
The Haunted Mansion has been closed since August 7th for a general maintenance refurbishment. The Hatbox Ghost is not expected to be installed yet. Disney has said that the Hatbox Ghost will appear “later this year”.
Work on the installation of the Hatbox Ghost began before the refurbishment.
