Harmonious Added to Lineup of Offerings Glowing Away at Conclusion of Disney World 50th Anniversary

We want you to get the most out of your ‘luxury villa’ stay in Solterra, Davenport (near Championsgate and just south of the Disney World Resort area). To help out, we have sourced the following blog post to keep you up to date with news from Walt Disney World Resort. Thanks to the guys over at Blog Mickey for the original post...

EPCOT’s nighttime spectacular is not long for this world and has been added to the lineup of offerings that will end at the conclusion of the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary on March 31, 2023. Originally designed to be a long-term nighttime spectacular at EPCOT, Harmonious hardware has proven to be too unsightly in the middle of World Showcase Lagoon. The daytime fountain effects never came to fruition and while the show itself is more critically acclaimed than Disney Enchantment at Magic Kingdom, neither nighttime show really met the moment of the 50th Anniversary.

Here’s a look at the Disney World 50th Anniversary guide on the My Disney Experience app, with Harmonious listed within the “Don’t Miss Your Chance to See” section along with the Beacons of Magic, Mickey’s Celebration Cavalcade, and 50th Anniversary merchandise.

The Walt Disney World website has not yet been updated to include Harmonious as a “last chance” offering.

It is expected that Harmonious will conclude sometime in the spring (although a date hasn’t been announced), with a Disney100 Anniversary show debuting later in 2023. It’s unclear what the long-term nighttime spectacular for EPCOT will be.
