First Tron Roller Coaster Track Piece Officially Installed at Magic Kingdom

We want you to get the most out of your ‘luxury villa’ stay in Solterra, Davenport (near Championsgate and just south of the Disney World Resort area). To help out, we have sourced the following blog post to keep you up to date with news from Walt Disney World Resort. Thanks to the guys over at Blog Mickey for the original post...

After covering a lot of the milestones to date for the Tron roller coaster at Magic Kingdom, we’re happy to bring you another milestone this morning: the first track piece to be installed!

After riding the newly reopened Tomorrowland Speedway, we decided to head over to Storybook Circus to get a better look at the progress from this past week. As it turns out, the first track piece was installed just yesterday evening! Here’s a look at the low, banking piece that was installed.

We’ll take a closer look below, where you can see the track installed onto the support columns. The pieces installed appear to form a low, banking u-turn, with the lowest point just feet off of the ground on the left of the first image below.

Make sure you keep checking back with for the latest photos and info on the Tron roller coaster and so much more from around the Disney Parks!
