First Look at New Fantasmic Scenes Coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios

We want you to get the most out of your ‘luxury villa’ stay in Solterra, Davenport (near Championsgate and just south of the Disney World Resort area). To help out, we have sourced the following blog post to keep you up to date with news from Walt Disney World Resort. Thanks to the guys over at Blog Mickey for the original post...

Disney World has shared a first look at some of the updated and new Fantasmic scenes that will debut on November 3, 2022 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Here’s a look!

While the Pocahontas scene was removed from the show, Pocahontas herself remains in Fantasmic.

The return of Fantasmic! will include the debut of an all-new sequence that will bring to life heroic moments from Disney stories such as “Moana,” “Mulan,” “Aladdin,” “Pocahontas,” and “Frozen 2.”

Other segments return like the waltz of the princesses.

Mickey Mouse still battles the forces of evil in the new Fantasmic.

Mulan will be part of a new high-energy act. The new heroes sequence features a high-energy Aladdin chase with stunts never before seen on the “Fantasmic!” stage, a powerful scene with Elsa set to the song “Show Yourself” that is sure to thaw the most frozen of hearts, and stirring moments with Pocahontas, Moana and Mulan. Fun fact: To help choreograph the authentic Chinese martial arts you’ll see in Mulan’s scene, the creative team brought in Mimi Chan – the original muse and model animators used when bringing the character of Mulan to life for the 1998 animated film.

The show combines live performers with stunning special effects, colorful pyrotechnic explosions, animation and dancing waters synchronized to the melodies of timeless Disney classics.

The finale boat has been refurbished and will contain some of the new characters.
