Disney World To Begin Recalling Theme Park Cast Members As Soon As 9pm Tonight

We want you to get the most out of your ‘luxury villa’ stay in Solterra, Davenport (near Championsgate and just south of the Disney World Resort area). To help out, we have sourced the following blog post to keep you up to date with news from Walt Disney World Resort. Thanks to the guys over at Blog Mickey for the original post...

As Walt Disney World readies to roll out a “phased” reopening of their theme parks and Disney Springs tomorrow, they have begun to notify Cast Members that they will need to report to work as soon as 9pm tonight. Cast Members are being told to report for their next scheduled shift that starts after 9pm tonight, September 29th. All scheduled Cast Members are expected to report to work tomorrow, September 30th.

Disney World has not announced what a “phased” reopening means yet, but they have committed to sharing more details later today.

Cast Members are encouraged to check the Hub for more information about the phased return and their schedules.

In the meantime, guests are stuck in a bit of a limbo, with the carrot of the theme parks reopening dangled in front of them, but without any actionable details just yet. Yesterday, Disney World removed all Disney Park Pass availability for all four of their theme parks for September 30th – likely as a means of limiting attendance during the phased reopening announced today.

As always, keep checking back with us here at BlogMickey.com as we continue to bring you the latest news, photos, and info from around the Disney Parks!
