Disney World Officially Updates Dining Cancelation & No-Show Policy

We want you to get the most out of your ‘luxury villa’ stay in Solterra, Davenport (near Championsgate and just south of the Disney World Resort area). To help out, we have sourced the following blog post to keep you up to date with news from Walt Disney World Resort. Thanks to the guys over at Blog Mickey for the original post...

Following an early November update to the My Disney Experience app, the Disney World website has been updated to reflect the new same-day cancelation policy update. When the update was made in the My Disney Experience app, the Disney World website still reflected the old policy. As a reminder, guests were previously required to cancel a dining reservation at least one day in advance of the reservation date to avoid a $10 per person fee. Now, same-day cancelations are allowed as long as the cancelation is more than 2 hours in advance of the reservation time. Here’s the updated wording on the Disney World website:

There is a 2 hour cancellation policy. You must cancel at least 2 hours prior to the dining reservation time to avoid a $10 per person cancellation fee. If you fail to cancel at least 2 hours prior, or if you no-show, the credit card provided at the time of reservation will be charged $10 per person.

Your credit card will automatically be charged if you no-show or if you fail to cancel at least 2 hours prior to the dining reservation time.
