Disney World Halting Resort Check-In for 48 Hours as Hurricane Ian Passes

We want you to get the most out of your ‘luxury villa’ stay in Solterra, Davenport (near Championsgate and just south of the Disney World Resort area). To help out, we have sourced the following blog post to keep you up to date with news from Walt Disney World Resort. Thanks to the guys over at Blog Mickey for the original post...

After Resort check-in is halted at 3pm tomorrow, September 28th, guests will not be able to check in to their resort until 48 hours later. Guests with resort reservations this weekend are being notified by Disney World that they should not show up before 3pm on Friday, September 30th. Any guests who attempt to check in before 3pm on Friday will not be allowed to check-in.

Disney has previously announced that guests will not be allowed to check in at all on Thursday, September 29th. Disney has also said that guests must be checked in for Wednesday, September 28th arrivals by 3pm. To recap, here’s what the latest info is on checking into your Disney World Resort in the coming days:

  • Wednesday, September 28th: Guests must be checked in by 3pm
  • Thursday, September 29th: No check-in allowed
  • Friday, September 30th: Guests not allowed to check in before 3pm

Should the timing of Hurricane Ian change, we anticipate that Disney World will update the times and dates above. Guests are advised to check their email for communications about their upcoming visit.
