Disney World Announces Testing For Walt Disney World Railroad Is “Just Beginning”…Again

We want you to get the most out of your ‘luxury villa’ stay in Solterra, Davenport (near Championsgate and just south of the Disney World Resort area). To help out, we have sourced the following blog post to keep you up to date with news from Walt Disney World Resort. Thanks to the guys over at Blog Mickey for the original post...

The Disney Parks Instagram account has posted a new video saying that “testing is just beginning for the Walt Disney World Railroad crew”. Confusingly, Disney shared a video back in March on its social media channels with the exact same caption, but a different video. If today’s Instagram post isn’t a fluke, the post could act as a reset of sorts for the timeline of the return of the Walt Disney World Railroad.

With Disney World’s original March announcement that testing was underway, it would make sense that they were targeting a fall 2022 reopening at that time. With Disney delaying the opening of the TRON Lightcycle Run roller coaster until Spring 2023 for marketing purposes, construction slowed on the site and the return of the Walt Disney World Railroad was seemingly delayed as well.

…and here’s today’s Instagram post.

Disney also shared that Cast Members were training back in July 2022.
