We want you to get the most out of your ‘luxury villa’ stay in Solterra, Davenport (near Championsgate and just south of the Disney World Resort area). To help out, we have sourced the following blog post to keep you up to date with news from Walt Disney World Resort. Thanks to the guys over at Blog Mickey for the original post...
With the Disney Park Pass theme park reservation system now live for Annual Passholders, we are getting multiple reports that Annual Passholders aren’t allowed to get their three reservation dates if they already have Disney Park Pass reservations through a resort stay. As of publish time, this seems to be a policy and not a glitch.
As seen in the screenshot below from the Disney World website, the second bullet point attempts to address this very issue. When this note was first put on the Disney World website, it was assumed that it was specifically talking about how many reservations a guests would qualify for, not necessarily that it would be limiting Annual Passholders to either the 3 reservations they qualify for on their pass orsecuring reservations for their resort stay.
Now with the Disney Park Pass reservation system live for Annual Passholders, we’re getting multiple reports from readers who are saying that they aren’t able to make their three Annual Pass selections because they have already made selections for a resort stay.
Again, the screenshot above is the best confirmation that we have that would suggest that this is a policy and not a glitch in the system. Disney would likely consider a single guest holding Annual Pass theme park reservations as well as reservations tied to a resort stay as “double dipping” on the system, and seems to not allow it.
We have received reports of guests either not being able to make any Annual Pass selections at all, or guests who have been able to make a single Annual Pass selection before being blocked out.
We want to hear from you! Are you experiencing the same thing where the Disney Park Pass reservation system isn’t letting you secure Annual Pass reservations and you already have resort reservations? Let us know in the comments below or on social media!
