Following the removal of the first Harmonious “taco” barge from World Showcase Lagoon, Disney has begun dismantling the barge in a backstage staging area next to the marina. Friend of the site bioreconstruct recently flew over EPCOT and was able to capture the work taking place. The barges do not appear to be undergoing a demolition, but rather what appears to be a careful dismantling of the various elements such as the media screens and moving arm. Here’s a look at the work.
EPCOT Forever is playing nightly at EPCOT now, but a new Disney100 show will debut later this year in World Showcase Lagoon.
