Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin Ride Mural Behind Tarp at Magic Kingdom

We want you to get the most out of your ‘luxury villa’ stay in Solterra, Davenport (near Championsgate and just south of the Disney World Resort area). To help out, we have sourced the following blog post to keep you up to date with news from Walt Disney World Resort. Thanks to the guys over at Blog Mickey for the original post...

It looks like crews are doing some work on the large mural where guests board their ride vehicle for Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at Magic Kingdom.

The mural, which typically looks like the photo below, is behind tarps and there appears to be some scaffolding in place too, perhaps for a refurbishment of the mural. Here’s a look back at the mural before the work. In the mural, Buzz Lightyear can be seen defeating a robot as Zurg looks on and more robots line up for battle. The Aliens can be seen in the same ride vehicle that guests are about to board.

Here’s a look at the area earlier today, with a black tarp covering the mural.
