Adventurer’s Flotilla Debuts at Disney’s Animal Kingdom (Characters from UP)

We want you to get the most out of your ‘luxury villa’ stay in Solterra, Davenport (near Championsgate and just south of the Disney World Resort area). To help out, we have sourced the following blog post to keep you up to date with news from Walt Disney World Resort. Thanks to the guys over at Blog Mickey for the original post...

More than 2 years after the COVID-19 pandemic necessitated the use of physically distanced cavalcades, motorcades, and flotillas, a new flotilla has debuted at Disney’s Animal Kingdom this morning. These physically distanced mini-parades test well with guests who enjoy a more frequent, less stressful way of viewing characters than a typical parade would demand. Of course, at a place like Disney’s Animal Kingdom, there are typically no parades or flotillas, so this is a wonderful way to introduce characters that you might not otherwise be able to see. However, in the case of the Adventurer’s Flotilla, these are characters that guests would normally be able to meet, but for whatever reason, the meet and greets for these characters still haven’t returned.

Today, two versions of the Adventurer’s Flotilla will debut – one for DuckTales characters and one for characters from UP. For a look at the DuckTales version, check out our article below!
