‘A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas’ Show at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

We want you to get the most out of your ‘luxury villa’ stay in Solterra, Davenport (near Championsgate and just south of the Disney World Resort area). To help out, we have sourced the following blog post to keep you up to date with news from Walt Disney World Resort. Thanks to the guys over at Blog Mickey for the original post...

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party has returned to Magic Kingdom, and we recently attended the event to see what’s new and what’s returning since it was last presented in 2019. The Tomorrowland-heavy event not only includes a fun holiday overlay for Space Mountain but also holiday overlays for Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor and the Tomorrowland Speedway. Looking for even more? Head over to the Rockettower Plaza Stage for A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas show! Here’s how Disney describes the show:

Join some of your favorite Tomorrowland friends for a rockin’ Christmas party. Buzz Lightyear, Mike Wazowski and Stitch join host Haley Comet for an intergalactic musical revue on the Rockettower Plaza Stage. The show is full of modern twists on classic holiday songs and the coolest dance numbers in town!

A Star Wars-style opening crawl sets the stage for the show:

Every year during this magical season, a small band of revelers form an alliance to battle the holiday duldrums across the galaxy and beyond. And now, at this very time, in this very place, it’s all about to happen again. Every inhabitant of every planet must step up and prepare themselves…prepare themselves for A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas!

Host Haley Comet takes the stage and is joined by a troupe of dancers as the show kicks off.

Haley introduces Tomorrowland friends starting with Buzz Lightyear representing Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin…

…and Mike Wazowski representing the Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor!

Stitch initially joins the show via a video link where Haley Comet asks Stitch to track down Santa Claus. Of course, Stitch takes that request and runs with it a bit. While we wait for Stitch to track down Santa, Buzz Lightyear comes out on stage and a musical and dance number kicks off.

Then, Mike Wazowski is asked to entertain guests while Stitch continues the search for Santa Claus.

Ultimately, Santa Claus doesn’t join the Totally Tomorrowland Christmas Party, but Santa Stitch does make an appearance!
