We want you to get the most out of your ‘luxury villa’ stay in Solterra, Davenport (near Championsgate and just south of the Disney World Resort area). To help out, we have sourced the following blog post to keep you up to date with news from Walt Disney World Resort. Thanks to the guys over at Disney Parks for the original post...
Searching for Hidden Mickeys is a favorite pastime for so many Disney fans, including myself. And here at Disney PhotoPass Service, we love incorporating the signature shape of our favorite pal Mickey Mouse into our Magic Shots and Disney PhotoPass Lenses. From our iconic Mickey Mouse balloons to fireworks, I thought it would be fun to showcase my favorite Hidden Mickey photo ops – so here are my top 5!
We’re starting off strong with a new Magic Shot available during the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. Hidden Mickeys can come in many forms and this time it’s bubbles! Offered in EPCOT over at the entrance to the World Showcase, this super cute Magic Shot fills your photo with Mickey Mouse-shaped bubbles. Take a peek at the bubble wand, it’s another Hidden Mickey!
Did you spot the next Hidden Mickey in the photo above? It’s up there in the corner! I love this shot because it’s the perfect subtle touch that makes your vacation memory extra magical. This Magic Shot is very rare (the weather has to cooperate!), but you’re most likely to see it in photos taken in front of the theme park icons like Spaceship Earth, the Tree of Life, or Cinderella Castle.
Next, is a classic Magic Shot that is loved by Disney PhotoPass fans far and wide: the Mickey Mouse Balloons Magic Shot! This collection of Hidden Mickeys is not-so-hidden, but nonetheless I wanted to mention it because of how adorable it is. Just look at those bright and fun colors! Keep an eye out as these balloons can change seasonally – different colors, patterns and more. You can get this Magic Shot at Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney Springs. Head on over to our Facebook page and check out our current Magic Shot Albums to view exact capture locations.
The fireworks Disney PhotoPass Lens has the cutest Hidden Mickey in the form of fireworks. This Lens is a great way to see fireworks at any time of day but trust me – I know nothing beats watching fireworks on Main Street, U.S.A. at the end of a full day of fun in Magic Kingdom Park. This lens is available to guests who purchase Disney Genie+ service and Annual Passholders! Find it on the My Disney Experience app*.
Extra pixie dust incoming! One of our newest photo ops is our Tiny World Magic Shot at Magic Kingdom Park. Located behind Partners Statue for a limited time, there’s a magical way to capture a Hidden Mickey in your photo during daylight hours! Can you find the Hidden Mickey?
While this blog post might be coming to an end, the search is not over! There are still so many Hidden Mickeys to find. I hope you enjoy looking for even more Hidden Mickeys in our Magic Shots and Disney PhotoPass Lenses. Happy searching!
*With the purchase of Disney Genie+ service, Walt Disney World guests can access many Disney PhotoPass Lenses in the My Disney Experience app as soon as they enter the park.
